Twenty-Four Hours
This week marks the winter solstice - considered to be the “shortest
day of the year”. While there may be less daylight at this time of year,
there are still 24 hours in the day - as there are every day.
As we wrap up the year, what have you done with your 24 hours
x 365 days for this year? As you consider this, last year I
published the top 10 questions to ask yourself at year-end. I
had an overwhelming response as to the value/importance of
working through those questions. Thus, I am posing them again
for your review.

This Top 10 List is different from most Top 10 lists
published at this time of year. It’s the Top 10 Questions you
should ask yourself (and answer) to set up for a more
productive, healthy, happy and successful year
- What are the successes I am most proud of?
- What have I done to celebrate the successes?
- What people have I surrounded myself with? or Who have I
met this year that has impacted me in some way?
- What goals, that were important to me, did I not reach?
Why?
- Considering the development opportunities available to
me this year, how have I applied what I learned?
- What books did I read? What did I do with the
information I read?
- What person have I taken time to develop/coach? or Who
is better off now because of time or energy I shared with
them this past year?
- What actions have I taken to better my life in some way?
- What strengths do I possess that I can use at a higher
level next year?
- What obstacles must I overcome so that I realize my
goals for 2006?

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May your days (all 24
hours of each of
them) be filled with activities that drive your happiness and
success.
