It’s Time!

Time for what? Annual reflections and planning. Yes, the dreaded “P” word. Expanding it to six “P” words...

Prior Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

This is a key message in many of the skill development processes we use to build performance, profits and people. This phrase definitely applies to annual planning.

How will planning now for this next year bring you great results?

  1. A clear target. Identifying desired outcomes provides the target to aim at – consciously or not. Planning allows you to hit more bulls eyes!
  2. Focused efforts = focused energies. There are 24 hours in each day as you well know. More importantly there is a finite amount of energy we can expend during those hours. Focusing our energy on important activities allows us to complete what we need to and have energy for other things!
  3. Less stress. Stress is a choice. Or rather a consequence of our choices – today’s and past choices. Planning now helps us to make better choices throughout the year.

What's stopping you from making the time to do your planning? YOU have the power to use your time anyway you choose.
